What it is possible to write new about any outstanding person about whom the set of articles is already written? Certainly, it is anything. Moreover about such singer as Valery Vladimirovich Obodzinsky, a person - legend, or as speak in people, an idol of millions. And consequently Valery Obodzinsky became by the right the winner of competition «Premium - 2006», carried out in Belarus in 2001-2006 among executors of Russian-speaking variety songs within the framework of the International festival «Millennium-2000». Valery Obodzinsky was born on January, 24, 1942 in Odessa and veins in an apartment of a house in which there was a conservatory. In the mornings behind window, music and sounds of a piano were audible. It was a heavy wartime - parents have soon left on front. And small Obodzinsky long time was brought up by his grandmother.

In 1949 Valery has gone to school. He indifferently studied. About himself he spoke, that education and formation at him were street: dews in the environment of thieves and pickpockets, but liked these guys and they answered him same. Thin humour of the Odessa children surprised and admired him. He spoke, that these guys, not having any education, could tell so, that it was possible to listen to them hours. The same skilful story-tellers with inimitable sense of humour were also his parents. Especially father always was soul of the company. Valery sang since the childhood and sang everywhere. Having mastered there is some guitar, it is a little contrabass, he sang on the Odessa beaches. Obodzinsky had no music education. He never studied in music and did not know notes, but possessed absolute ear for music. Valery is the singer the self-educated person. He spoke about himself, that he has made himself such, listening to foreign singers and collecting best that from one, from other known executor. So he searched for himself, creating the creative individuality. The beginning of professional career of Valery Obodzinsky was work by steam-ship "Admiral Nahimov" where him have taken right after the first listening. Then he worked as the soloist of the Kostroma philarmonic society which heads at that time were Valentine Fyodorovna and Valery Ivanovich Makarov, assisting to the young singer. Then Obodzinsky worked in the Tomsk philarmonic society, having travelled with concerts all over again all Siberia, and then and all Russia. In 1967 Obodzinsky started to work from Oleg Lundstrem's orchestra. Within work in this well-known orchestra to Obodzinsky there has come popularity and national love. The first song was born on performances in Bulgaria and at once became popular. It was the song of composer Boris Karadimchev "Moon on solar coast". Subsequently this song with the big success sounded and on radio. Later, well-known "East song" was born in cooperation with David Tuhmanov. It also at once became very popular.

Valery Obodzinsky was not similar to singers of time. Authorities did not approve his manner of execution of songs and repertoire. Spoke that he sings not in a Soviet way. Counted him not the serious singer and did not suppose to act on TV. But the national love testified to huge popularity of the singer. All concerts of Obodzinsky passed with the notice.

Obodzinsky was lyric poet, the singer of the true love and true feelings. He never changed to himself, was never arranged neither under time, nor under requirements of authorities. And it, naturally, yielded negative results: "above" did not favour him; the TV has been closed, cut releases of phonograph records. But in spite of on anything, he sang that was pleasant to him, sang by the heart and with soul, safely undertook both for domestic, and a foreign material. Valery went ahead of time. Later he spoke, that the age for the singer does not matter, the main thing to go in a leg in due course, to not lag behind. Still he spoke, that there is no "silly" public, all depends on the executor. Due to indefatigable search, Obodzinsky has found the creative individuality and the originality.

Obodzinsky successfully cooperated with such known composers and poets, as D.Tuhmanov, L.Derbenyov, M.Pljatskovsky, O.Gadzhikasimov, N.Dobronravov, A.Fljarkovsky, N.Bogoslovsky, A.Zatsepin, I.Shaferan, I.Kohanovsky and with many others. But, despite of national love and the hugest popularity, the singer could not receive so a high rank of the National actor of the USSR corresponding to him. The Honored artist of the Mari ASSR he began only after tour on republic. For two months of it tour he has acted everywhere where only it was possible to act: in cities, settlements, villages, villages, collective farms, state farms and even on farms.

At the end of a life Valery Vladimirovich has gone through crisis, a creative apocalypse. During this period he at all did not sing. Glory, money, songs have ceased to interest him. Some years he lived the last at the fan of the talent and second wife Anna Esenina. Anna has helped him to let out some disks. One of them was a disk on verses and A.Vertinsky's music in modern arrangement. Valery Vladimirovich Obodzinsky has died on April, 26, 1997. In memory of the singer and recognition of his talent the concert has taken place in a concert hall "Russia" and ceremony of a bookmark of a star of the actor, on the area of stars has taken place.

Two daughters of Obodzinsky (from first wife Nelly) Angela and Valery have received in the inheritance from the father love to music. The grown-up, Angela became the professional singer, she and today sings songs of the father, prepares for release for albums of his songs in own execution. The younger daughter, Valery, works as the professional sound producer in firm "Melody".

Sergey Zaharov was born on May, 1, 1950 in Nikolaev in Ukraine in family of the military man. Father - Zaharov George Mihajlovich, mother - Zaharova Zinaida Evgenievna. Daughter Natalya is of 1969 of a birth and grand daughter Stanislava is of 1992 of a birth. The family frequently had to move from a place to a place, to live in different cities of then Soviet Union. Lonely father has served in Baikonur in Kazakhstan - 13 years. There Sergey has left school and has acted in 1966 in radio engineering technical school. At house all liked to sing. Grandfather of Sergey within 30 years was the first trumpeter of the Odessa opera orchestra. Musical genes of parents should affect Sergey. Especially they were showed during service in army where he was the company leader. Soon Sergey Zaharov have sent on an amateur arts festival, whence he has got in Ensemble song and dancing of the House of the Soviet Army of the Central Asian military district. In 1971 Zaharov has been ahead of schedule demobilized and directed to Moscow for receipt in musical school. In Moscow Sergey has acted on branch of a musical comedy of musical school of name Gnesinyh, in Margarita Landa's class. Being still the student, he has received the invitation to become the soloist of the State variety orchestra under the control of Leonid Utyosov, with whom he successfully acted within two years. But in February, 1973 Sergey Zaharov has passed for work to the Leningrad Music hall and was transferred in the Leningrad musical school of a name Rimsky-Korsakov for continuation of study on branch of solo singing. The art director of the Music hall Ilia Rahlin has imparted to Sergey diligence, the quivering attitude to a stage, has learned to work laboriously above each song, each romance, as above the next solo performance.

In the spring of 1974 the First international competition of song "Gold Orpheus" has taken place in Bulgaria, on which Sergey Zaharov has been awarded with 1-st premium. Autumn of 1974 competition in Dresden (Germany), behind it - the International competition of variety song in Sopot (Poland), "Bratislava lyre" (Czechoslovakia) was, competition in city Zelena Gura in 1976. And everywhere Zaharov was the first. Then there were the numerous foreign performances, the first a plate, and the first shootings in musical film "Heavenly swallows" where Zaharov has played a leading role together with such actors as L.Gurchenko, A.Mironov and A.Shirvindt. Till 1985 Sergey Zaharov worked in the Leningrad music hall, then in philarmonic societies of different cities of Russia. Since 1986 the singer works already independently, all over again with the ensemble, then, since 1991, with pianist Alexander Kogan. In 1991 Sergey Zaharov becomes the soloist of agency of the Union of concert figures of Saint Petersburg.

Different musical forms - from songs and romances up to opera arias are accessible to the singer. He has the own attitude, the own judgement to each vocal product. He is sensitive to idea of authors of songs and always aspires to inform it up to students. The first chords - and in auditorium flow bewitching sounds of a lyrical baritone, a rolling, bewitching timbre. Sergey Zaharov's voice is unique on beauty of a timbre, power and flexibility. It is capable to absorb sounds of orchestral support; to fill in space is similar to sounding of body, to become as though tangible. For years of creative activity he had been prepared set of concert programs. Among them and performance in concert hall "Russia", and with an orchestra of All-Union TV and radio under A.Mihajlov's management, and in Chajkovsky’s concert hall, and with an orchestra of Russian national tools of a name of N.Osipov and with an orchestra of the Variety theatre. Four years on end Sergey Zaharov took part as the guest of honour in programs of the international festival "Slavjansky Bazar ". Many solo programs of the singer have been shown on the Central TV.

The singer has visited with performances 41 country of the world. In all countries he acted with the program of Russian romantic music, with P.Chajkovsky, S.Rahmaninov, M.Glinka and M.Musorgsky's products.

For years of creative activity Sergey Zaharov has let out 3 disks - giants in firm "Melody" and 5 compact discs. To his creativity it is devoted more than 200 articles in the domestic and foreign editions published since 1974. Now Sergey Zaharov has own studio of a sound recording. On the St.-Petersburg radio with tremendous success have passed 52 transfers from a cycle "On fragile keys of soul", prepared by the singer, and since January, 1999 new transfers of a cycle have started to go - "do not overlook", about creativity of the most popular domestic variety executors, since the beginning of a century up to now.

In 1988 the honorary title of the Honored artist of Russia, and in 1996 - a rank of the National actor of Russia has been given to Sergey Zaharov. In 1998, in days of celebrating of the 400-anniversary of the Odessa opera theatre, the Nikolay - miracle-worker Award, the International award of UNESCO for growth of goods on the ground for №41, has been handed Sergey Zaharov. It is interesting, that such award for №1 the Daddy the Roman John Paul II, and an award for №40 - at Russian singer Elena Obraztsova possesses.

Sergey Zaharov is the music fan. He collects a unique collection - a record library of the best vocalists of opera art, since the end of XIX century till now. Sergey's one more hobby - flowers. The house of the singer is in 50 kms from Saint Petersburg, on a marge of the wood, surrounded in the summer wonderful colors, beds, the Alpine hills, and by small decorative lakelets. All this is made with the big art and love by Sergey Georgievich's hands. But, as he speaks, the biggest hobby is a grand daughter. Sergey Zaharov lives and works in Saint Petersburg. I cannot differently. These words of very popular in due time song completely concern to creativity of its executor to the National actress of Russia Valentine Tolkunova. Valentine Vasiljevna counts: «Each song is a destiny! And only it is necessary to sing about feeling. I am glad, that I have avoided songs - slogans, and always sang about people, about their pleasures and experiences». And listeners to all over the world like Valentine Tolkunova for sincerity, a great skill of performance and depth of the contents of executed by her songs. So by results of the sociological interrogations which have been lead carried out in Belarus in 2001-2006 within the framework of the International festival «Millennium-2000», Valentine Tolkunova became the winner of competition «Premium - 2006» and has come in ten the best executors of Russian-speaking variety songs of a left millenium.

Valentine Tolkunova was born on July, 12, 1946 in city Armavir of Krasnodar territory in family of the railwayman. Mother is the Siberian, father is Volga”s villager. In the Tolkunova’s house the song sounded constantly. There were many plates with records of opera arias, romances, and ancient national songs. Mum always sang, when prepared for a meal, erased, set the table. Well sang also both grandmothers. Many songs later including in repertoire of the singer, Valentine has heard from them. In Moscow Valentine appeared, when to her year was executed. At children's age she has passed on competition to ensemble of the Central House of Children of railwaymen under I.Dunaevsky's management where 10 years sang in chorus under supervision of fine musician T.Ovchinnikov - her first teacher on music.

In 1964 Tolkunova has acted to study as conductor-choral branch in the Moscow state institute of culture which has ended in 1976. In 1971 Valentine has ended musical school of name Gnesinyh.

In 1966 on competition has got in a vocal-tool orchestra under J.Saulsky's management where has worked 5 years the soloist-vocalist and sang jazz tool music. In 1971 Valentine Tolkunova has sounded songs of composer I.Kataev on M.Ancharov's verses in a television movie "Day after day". These songs quickly became popular, and Tolkunova began to work actively with composers - song-writers: E.Kolmanovsky, M.Tariverdiev, P.Aedonitsky, E.Zharkovsky, M.Minkov, V.Uspensky, E.Ptichkin, L.Ljadova and others.

In 1972 of Valentine Tolkunova it has been invited by poet L.Oshanin to sing on stage of the Tower Hall at an anniversary concert where with success has acted with V.Shainsky's song. After that for her the big road to TV and radio has opened. For short time she has executed many songs, grown fond by spectators in all corners of our country. Only in musical films and theatrical performances by her it has been executed more than 300 songs. Valentine Tolkunova 23 times there was the winner of television competition "Song of year". The singer issues 12 plates and compact discs: "I Stand on a substation" (1972), "In all to I would like to reach up to the essence" (1973), "To Komsomol it is devoted" (1975), "Noses - pug-noses" (1977), "Dialogue the New Year tree" (1982); a double album "If would not have war" (1985); a double album "Conversation with the woman" (1986), "Serjozha" (1989), "Forty five" (1992); compact discs "I cannot differently" (1995), "I rural" (1997), "Dream a grass" (1997).

In 1989 on base of the Moscontsert where Valentine Tolkunova worked since 1973, Creative Association "ART", theatre of a musical drama and songs which art director became the singer has been created. The theatre creates musical performances and programs: an opera "Russian women" on Nekrasov's poem, on Pushkin and Koltsov's verses (1986); performance "Expectation" (V.Uspensky's music on R.Rozhdestvensky's verses); performance "Sparks of champagne" (1989); musical performance of songs "I cannot differently" (1990), "Do not leave me, love" (1992), devoted to the 25 -anniversary of creative activity of Valentine Tolkunova, "I your dewdrop, the Russian" (1995), "New spring of V.Tolkunova" (1997). All performances have been staged the Concert hall "Russia".

Valentine Tolkunova - one of the most favourite domestic actresses of a platform. The singer with the fine external data has found the image of the Russian woman, with its geniality, silent tenderness, and feeling of advantage. At her the style, an own original manner of singing was generated. Valentine Tolkunova did not try to modernize especially Russian song, to her vocal the national manner of performance, but in interaction with a variety song is peculiar. Valentine Tolkunova it is awarded with an award of Friendship of Peoples (1996), a medal of Federal agency for government communication and information (1997), a medal in honour of "850-anniversary of Moscow" (1997), certificates of honour of the Governments of Estonia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Kalmykia, Kabardino-Balkariya.

As a hobby Valentine Vasiljevna prefers to listen to classical music. Loves Mozart, Rakhmaninov, Vivaldi, Rossini, Handel. At leisure Tolkunova prefers walks and reading. The singer speaks: «I live in Moscow on the Patriarchal ponds. I very much like this place. Near to a house is little park, in which I like to take a walk, think. I love pre-dawn silence when there are not enough machines, people. Also I read - re-read the historical, philosophical and orthodox literature much. I come back to Bunin, Leskov, and Turgenev».
